These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RoleVsMe (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The service
RoleVsMe analyzes your résumé against job-market data to produce a match score, skill-gap insights, learning roadmaps, and AI-assisted résumé content. Results are informational estimates based on available data and do not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcome.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Credits and payments
Certain features consume credits. New accounts receive a starter allocation of free credits. Additional credits are sold in packs and processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and credits already consumed are non-refundable. We may change pricing or credit costs prospectively.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading content you don't have the right to use; attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; or using it to violate any law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the résumé and content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service (including sending text to third-party AI providers for analysis). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your content), is owned by RoleVsMe and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Market data may be incomplete or out of date.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleVsMe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
